Our Alumni 鈥 In Their Own Words
Cathryn O鈥機onnell
Teacher, Cristo Rey High School (Columbus, Ohio)
Alumna, ODU MA Theology
鈥淭he professors of ODU's MA in Theology program provided a rigorous academic course load and a place for philosophical discussion. Thanks to their influence and direction, I was intellectually and spiritually prepared to respond to God's call to share the Good News of Jesus by teaching high school theology.鈥
Marijana Yelich
Teacher, Cristo Rey High School (Columbus, Ohio)
Alumna, ODU MA Theology
鈥淚 joined ODU's master鈥檚 program in Theology in 2017, just six months after having my fourth child. ODU's family friendly program allowed me to pursue higher education and still be present to my growing family. Working as a theology teacher now, I can look back and appreciate the intellectual and spiritual formation that I have received at ODU, and that has made it possible for me to continue my work as a disciple of Christ in society.鈥
