State Authorization and Professional Licensure Requirements

State Authorization

State Authorization refers to federal and state requirements that higher education institutions must obtain approval from each state where they enroll students in distance education activities. Distance education includes not only online courses and programs but also field experiences, clinical placements, internships, and other educational activities that take place outside the institution鈥檚 home state.

Requirements change frequently and 69堂精品app makes every effort to maintain compliance. Not all programs may be authorized in all states. Students should contact their academic department before enrolling in distance learning activities outside the State of Ohio to confirm eligibility.
